Meaning of Training

Training is called the act and the result of training: training, instructing, training or educating someone. The training seeks that a person acquires capacities or abilities for the development of certain actions.
For example: “Tomorrow there will be a training session for the municipal hospital nursing staff”, “When they hired me, I had a month of training before starting to serve the public”, “I don’t think Gómez should be the technical director of the national team: they don’t have enough training ”.
The idea of training appears in different contexts. Companies often allocate resources to train their employees: greater training of workers, better results in terms of productivity, customer satisfaction, etc. Depending on the case, the training may include the teaching of a language, training in a computer system or other type of instruction.
It is important to note that the need to apply training processes in companies begins when a difference is detected between the knowledge that workers have and what they should have to carry out their tasks. To demonstrate this lack of balance, performance evaluations are usually carried out with a certain frequency.
These days, statically defined jobs no longer exist in many companies, as constant changes in the organization often lead employees to cover multiple fields. While this does not mean that each person should have more than one specialty, market demands and tight delivery dates cannot always be satisfied with normal and orderly activity.
According to DigoPaul, training in business must be applied in different stages, each with its own characteristics and needs, and in all cases it is an invaluable investment of time, energy and money. Let’s look at the main four:
* Induction: this is the training that the company provides to workers when they enter, before they begin their normal performance. Supervisors are generally responsible for this training phase, as only they know exactly what knowledge and skills their team members need. For the action to be planned and uniform, the guidelines must be put in writing;
* training: this training is received by operational personnel, generally in the same workplace, when new technologies or functions emerge that the company expects them to know and master as part of their daily tasks;
* Basic training: it is carried out in companies of a certain level, and consists of training young people with special training, with general knowledge of the entire organization, and then assigning them to different positions;
* Development of bosses: it is one of the most difficult undertakings, since this type of training seeks to form attitudes, rather than provide skills or knowledge. While management is involved in the other processes, in this process the action of the general management and the highest levels of the company is necessary.
The notion of teacher training refers to the processes that are carried out so that teachers and professors are prepared to teach their students. These processes involve the transmission of knowledge, but also education about behaviors and attitudes that a teacher should have in the classroom.
In the field of cytology, the last phase of the development of a sperm is called training. At this stage, the male gamete becomes capable of achieving fertilization of the oocyte.
Training of the sperm within a relationship sexual occurs after ejaculation, to the contact with fluids present in the female genital area.
