So important is the area of ​​Plastic Arts today that there are various awards that recognize its professionals. Thus, among the most significant awards are the Velázquez Prize for Plastic Arts or the National Prize for Plastic Arts in Spain.

One of the most recognized plastic arts is painting. This art consists of the use of pigments and other substances to achieve a graphic representation on a canvas or similar material.

The sculpture is the art of modeling or carving various materials such as stone, wood or mud. Those works are three-dimensional pieces dedicated to all kinds of figures.
