How to Make a Decoupage Clock

Someone interested sometimes to know how these decoupage-IE servettitöitä actually is done. Ways is probably as many as there are alike, but below is a taste of what’s in my own way. The clock on the wall, but this coffee perustekniikkahan servettikoristelussa is always the same-and the tool can be almost anything but!

In The Early

For this to work, you need the following items:

-Suitable for the Holy Grail. Servetin only your imagination is the limit. You may want to choose the Holy Grail, the picture is pretty easy to cut out of it (not an impossibly small details). Here I have selected the clover/leppäkerttuservetin.

-Chassis/floor, on which work will be built. In the base of the posts sent from cinnabar, bought from heart-shaped puuaihio, which I have before painting a bit more honed with Emery paper. If the ground feels like your hand smooth, supports the unevenness of the absolute edge away. A small effort, but much cooler the end result!

-Paints. Primers I use ordinary hardware store water-based wall paints (Tikkurila’s Harmony as far as I remember). The white wall maalinhan gets all the slides and a few euros for a fee to any color between heaven and Earth, and these wall paints are much more affordable and use riittoisampia as the craft trade paints. Of course, mm. sold crafts and Sinellissä maalejakin can Tiimari to use as well, but in fact, I found the wall paints myself better. In this I have already pohjamaalannut the heart with white paint. Priming you should do a couple of times thinly than once thick layers of results is cooler. You should, where appropriate, the number of each type of sanding between wield again.

-Varnishes. Personally, I use these to work at two different stops. Servettilakan posts I have to deliver diluted so it tökötti, suoja-Sauna with sauna, these panels are protected. Sauna protection must be diluted in a 1:1 (half water, half of the Bath to protect), otherwise the varnish is too thick and covering it. In addition, I use the usual puolihimmeää, colourless furniture-this Polish servettikuvioiden the setting of the whole of grandeur over so that the object may be clean and polished surface, which takes also a little moisture and cleaning. The selection of all paint and varnish you should pay attention to the fact that the Paints/varnishes are non-toxic and tools (brushes, etc.) are cleaned with water.

-A pair of scissors, a few different size brush.

Watch accessories-machinery, radiators, the hands and the clock face numbers.

All of these accessories may be purchased not only crafts stores, including the myriad of online stores. For example, Servettitekniikan’s friends will appreciate the Snow watches-online shop a huge selection of. Online shopping prices for wall clocks are almost always lower according to Wallclockstation.com.

Servettikuvien cutting and mounting

Cut the picture out of the servetistä. Napkins are usually kolmikerroksisia, and it is important to remember to unplug the two bottom layers before image servettilakalla is attached to the base of the top. If this does not do, the image is usually sum up properly. Therefore, only the main servetin I will tell you is used.

Then just to design, how to make a picture or pictures, it would be best to draw to the bottom. When you have made the decision, you should ping the shelter as a precaution. In fact I do these servettitöitä often baking paper on top.

Servettikuva is attached to the bottom of the dilute Sauna protection, or a servettilakalla, which can be purchased in craft stores. The bottom of the first, thinly spread to stop where you are designed by the kiinnittäväsi of the image. Then insert the picture carefully wet varnish layer on top, and “iron”, for example, the paint brush neatly caught. The edges of the image in the middle of the Woods, go with caution so that you can get any rectification of a rift. Don’t Pat too hard not to wet the napkin does not.

When you’ve got a servettikuviot, please pensseliin more stops and stops off for pictures the pictures carefully adhere properly and all the air bubbles are removed from the images below.

Then a few Word of warning. Servettiin will be very easy to wrinkles. Small patterns on them does not, of course, come as easily as big, but almost always there will be some. Maybe someone is so clever that it knows how to draw servetin without wrinkles, but I am not. I accepted it in the crease just falling for these to work, and are not in favour of the position of the greater concern. The end result, however, is usually quite attractive. However, you may want to try smaller images, and although the practice technology eg. on a piece of cardboard before the big jobs, so will be saved for the bother. In addition, the Holy Grail is so fragile that when it is set on varnish on top of the move or change position, it is usually no longer possible without that picture of the crash. If this is the case, you can still remove the image while using your fingers, if the varnish is still wet. For this reason, you should keep a few making the image available. The key word is, therefore, servettikuvan to the precautionary approach. Practice makes the master, however, here, too.

Once you have drawn the images carefully in the bottom of the servettilakalla, leave all the grandeur of kuivamaan in peace at least paired with hours. Since then, stops the whole thing once again, and leave again the next day kuivamaan will be happy to now. I’ll use this Assembly lakkaukseen-colored furniture will stop, but at the same time, voipahan do it even if it servettilakallakin, with pictures. If the submit object is intended for outdoor use (for example, a flower pot), its termination, with proper varnish is, of course, a lot more important than if the object is intended for indoor use.

When the varnish has dried up, can the clock be completed. Drill a hole in a convenient location in the background and attach the mechanism, the hand and the numbers of the clock.

Then just the radiator into position, clock time, and on the wall!

In these servettitöissä is cool it, that does not need to know how to draw or paint in order to achieve a beautiful and colorful surface. And koristellahan can indeed be almost anything; I embellished these timepieces in addition to at least filter bag racks, mushroom baskets, a variety of zinc dishes, tuhkiksia, flower pots, trays, a variety of boxes and glass jars. If koristeltava the surface is very dark, it’s usually a good idea to first paint in a light primer-dark is the tiny servettikuva stand out. Next, I’m going to try krakeloinnin and servettitekniikan. Krakelointihan is a technology with a special varnish to the object at the time, to put it mildly cracked or old looking surface. I’ll tell you then how successful.
